P & C Travels 2006

We are still here in Quartzsite, Arizona with a broken computer. Cath thinks it is the hard drive but will not know until we get home. So thanks to Good Sam Club booth at the RV Expo here we are able to get on long enough to check email for important things and a quick entry on the blog.

We are shopping every day, home to the scamp trailer just before the sun sets and settle into the rig for an evening of movies. We will be here a couple more days. Then we will head home. We may stop at Joshua Tree NP for a last night out on the road. When we get home we will see if we can rescue pictures off the hard drive to post and get that up and running.

UPDATE - hard drive replaced and pictures rescued so here they are. P & C

Tomorrow we leave for Quartzsite for at least a week. Not sure of plans after that but we will see.

Well the travels have already begun for 2006. This weekend we attended the Buses By the Bridge 10 (BBBX) a VW charity event. We drove over a couple days early to help with set up then spent the weekend catching up with friends old and new. The weather was great for the middle of winter. Some of the people we met in Ontario, Canada came down and joined the fun.

Here is the quilt that Philip helped Catherine put together for a special raffle at BBBX. All of the money from the weekend goes to local Arizona childrens funds and programs. The quilt was made from T-shirts from the local clubs and the material was found in Cath's parents attic. Authentic 70's material.
